At the Dog Home Foundation shelter, hundreds of injured, abandoned, and sick animals find safety, love, and care. Each rescued animal is given immediate medical attention, proper food, and a secure place to heal—all free of cost. Whether it’s a dog paralyzed from a road accident, a camel with an amputated leg due to a collision, or a cow burned with acid or left to die in pain, Dog Home Foundation ensures every life is treated with dignity and compassion.
As the number of rescue cases increases daily, so does the cost of running this life-saving operation. Just a few months ago, the monthly expenses of the shelter were around ₹25 lakhs. Today, that number has risen to ₹35 lakhs per month, driven by the surge in cases of dehydration, extreme weather conditions, accidents, tumors, and infections. The foundation manages all expenses on its own, without any fixed source of external funding.
But the truth is—this is becoming increasingly unsustainable.
Without consistent support from kind-hearted donors, we may be forced to limit the number of rescues, something we do not want to do. Every day, we get more and more emergency calls, and each one is a life hanging in the balance. Imagine turning away a suffering animal just because we lack funds.
